The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in radiation therapy, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and the necessary national and state certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a physician.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and physician directives.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and make necessary adjustments.
• Ensure patient safety by following established radiation safety procedures and protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and expectations.
• Stay current with advancements in radiation therapy technology and techniques.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National and state certification and/or licensure as required.
• Proficiency in operating radiation therapy equipment and developing treatment plans.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
