Job Summary:

Vetted is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel assignment. To qualify for the travel rate, candidates must live at least 60 miles away from the facility. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience, along with BLS certification and the necessary national and state certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques and exercises to improve patient communication skills.
• Work with patients to enhance their ability to speak, understand, read, and write effectively.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about communication disorders and treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Maintain and manage therapy equipment and materials.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National and state certification and/or licensure as required.
• Proficiency in evaluating and treating a range of speech and language disorders.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adapt to different clinical settings and patient needs.
