Job Summary:

Vetted is seeking an experienced X-Ray Tech for a travel assignment. The position requires candidates to live at least 60 miles away from the facility to qualify for the travel rate. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Tech, along with BLS certification and the necessary national and state certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Operate X-ray equipment to capture high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
• Prepare patients for X-ray procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Position patients accurately and explain the imaging process to them.
• Review and assess images for quality, ensuring proper technique and positioning.
• Maintain and manage X-ray equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Follow safety protocols and infection control practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver effective patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Tech.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National and state certification and/or licensure as required.
• Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and performing diagnostic imaging.
• Strong understanding of radiographic techniques and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to different healthcare settings and work under varying conditions.
