Job Summary:

Vetted is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Tech for a travel assignment. To qualify for the travel rate, candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility. This position requires 2 years of experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and national and state certifications as required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures using imaging equipment.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures and provide technical support.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort.
• Operate and maintain radiological equipment and ensure accurate imaging results.
• Follow established protocols and safety measures to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Document and maintain accurate records of procedures and patient interactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Tech.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National and state certification and/or licensure as required.
• Proficiency in operating radiological imaging equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
