Job Summary:

Vetted is seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technician for a travel position. This job was posted 20 days ago. Candidates must reside at least 60 miles away from the assigned facility to qualify for the travel rate. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Tech, along with BLS certification and the necessary national and state certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures.
• Explain MRI procedures to patients and address any concerns.
• Monitor patients during scans to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Review and evaluate images to determine if additional images are needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize patient exposure to magnetic fields.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technician.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National and state certification and/or licensure as required.
• Strong knowledge of MRI equipment and imaging procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Flexibility to travel and work in various healthcare facilities.
