Job Summary:

Vetted is seeking a skilled Sonography Tech for a travel assignment. To qualify for the travel rate, candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and the required national and state certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular studies.
• Ensure high-quality images and accurate results for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, performing routine quality checks.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to interpret results and provide patient care.
• Document examination findings and maintain accurate records of procedures performed.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonography Tech.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National and state certification and/or licensure as required.
• Proficient in the use of ultrasound imaging equipment and techniques.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
