Job Summary:

Vetted is seeking a qualified Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment. This position was posted 8 days ago. Candidates must live at least 60 miles away from the facility to qualify for the travel rate. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology, along with BLS certification and the necessary national and state certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs as ordered by physicians.
• Operate radiologic equipment and ensure the accuracy of imaging results.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Review and analyze images for quality and accuracy, and provide preliminary findings to the physician.
• Maintain and troubleshoot radiologic equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control practices, and quality standards.
• Document patient information, imaging procedures, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National and state certification and/or licensure as required.
• Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment and performing diagnostic imaging.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of radiology procedures and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse and fast-paced environments.
• Flexibility to travel and adapt to different healthcare settings.
