Job Summary:

Vetted is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment. Candidates must reside at least 60 miles away from the facility to qualify for the travel rate. Required qualifications include a minimum of 2 years of experience, BLS certification, and national and state certifications as required.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to patients as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status, including oxygen levels and breathing patterns.
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment such as ventilators, nebulizers, and oxygen tanks.
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National and state certification and/or licensure as required.
• Proficiency in respiratory therapy techniques and equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
