Job Summary:

Vetted is seeking a qualified Surgical Tech for a travel assignment. To be eligible for the travel rate, candidates must reside at least 60 miles away from the facility. This role requires 2 years of experience, BLS certification, and national and state certifications as required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, including instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Monitor patient's vital signs and assist with patient positioning.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of surgical instruments and materials.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure smooth and efficient surgical operations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed surgical records.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National and state certification and/or licensure as required.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
