Job Summary:

Vetted is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a travel position. The job was posted 8 days ago. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting, along with BLS certification and the necessary national and state certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization lab.
• Operate imaging equipment and assist with various cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide quality care.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Prepare and manage sterile fields and assist with the insertion and removal of catheters.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control practices, and quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National and state certification and/or licensure as required.
• Proficiency in performing and assisting with Cath Lab procedures.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of Cath Lab equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
• Flexibility to travel and adapt to various healthcare settings.
