Job Title: Dispensary Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispensary Technician to join our growing team in the medical and/or recreational cannabis industry. The ideal Dispensary Technician candidate is passionate about customer service, compliance, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for all clients. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment. As a Dispensary Technician , you will be on the front lines of our operation, providing essential support to both customers and internal operations.

The Dispensary Technician will be responsible for guiding customers through their cannabis experience, from answering product-related questions to ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This individual should be comfortable with learning about new products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and using point-of-sale systems. In addition, the Dispensary Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the dispensary, ensuring it meets all local and industry standards.

As a Dispensary Technician , you will be expected to uphold the values and mission of the dispensary. The ideal Dispensary Technician will be a quick learner with a professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and a passion for the cannabis industry.

Primary Responsibilities

• Process and fill prescriptions for pharmacist verification
• Maintain medication inventory and automated dispensing systems
• Replenish workstation supplies (vials, caps, labels, etc.)
• Assist with inventory control and remove expired items
• Support patient service calls and order inquiries as needed

Qualifications

Required:

• Available to work scheduled shifts, including overtime/Saturdays
• Must be 18 years or older

Preferred:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous pharmacy or prescription data entry experience
• Experience in a mail-order pharmacy setting
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours
